School Activities & After School Offerings
Madison Elementary Provides many activities during the school day and after school to enrich our students' school experience. We have something for you!
Tutoring
Sylvan Tutoring- Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2:20-3:20.
Clubs
Good News Club- A Christian afterschool group meets every Thursday 2:15-6:00 PM. The Bible is taught with songs, stories, games, etc. Sign up is free.
Math Field Day- Annual math competition for fourth and fifth graders. Meetings are twice a week from December through March. Fourth graders meet Wednesdays and Fridays. Fifth graders meet Thursdays and Fridays. Day of competition is an all-day event.
Social Skills- Open to fourth and fifth grade students wanting to participate in creating skits based on their own personal and real-life experiences. Great for students interested in theater and performance. Students meet once a week on Thursdays during their lunchtime in room D101.
Folklorico- TK-2nd grade participants meet in the Auditorium Thursdays and 3rd-5th grade meet Fridays at 2:20.
Mariachi Aguilas- Meet every Tuesday & Thursday until 4 PM after school in D107.
After School
Adventures – Limited scholarships available. Cost is roughly $100 dollars for a full month, depending on the number of school days. Program includes educational activities and sports. Hours are Monday 12:35-6:00 PM & Tues-Thurs 2:15-6:00 PM.
LEARNS – For families that qualify, this a free afterschool program that runs during the academic school year. Please apply early in the school year as this is a popular program that is on a first come, first serve basis with a long waiting list. Hours are Monday 12:35-6:00 PM & Tues-Thurs 2:15-6:00 PM. Cheerleading, dance, sports, enrichment, arts, science, tutoring, and crafts are available. The LEARNS summer program runs from June-July and is $75 dollars.
